The essence of the Chinese calligraphy and Súmie (Zen) painting is to calm the mind and develop the creativity and sensitivity that allows you to find the essence of things and capture it on rice paper.
His practice is developed by copying the ancient ideograms called seal style (zhuànzhu) that have a more circular and artistic shape to feel the fluidity of the stroke and the power of Chinese ink.
And in Xieyi style Chinese painting, throughout the process of drawing themes inspired by nature (such as orchids, bamboo, plum trees, chrysanthemums, fish , flowers, people...), you will learn to calm your mind and become aware of the present moment (full attention).
By making each stroke, one will be able to observe how breathing affects our rhythm of writing or drawing and how our mood affects our breathing and artistic expression.
